I was a full-time journalist for more than twenty-five years, covering a wide range of subjects and beats, filing stories from five of the seven continents. (Africa and Antartica, I'll get to you one day.) My last position was Washington bureau chief for Variety, 2005 - 2009. I still occasionally freelance now.
